Our Administration Team is made up with: Care Navigators Receptionists Medical Secretaries Administrators All are trained to deal with a wide variety of tasks in a sympathetic manner with complete confidentiality. Our receptionists are trained to ask questions and direct you to the most suitable person to deal with your concern.

Carer Support Worker

This service is available for people who have someone to care for such as a relation, neighbour or friend of any age and who may need help, advice or information about the services available to them.

Dietitian

The Practice Dietitian can provide diet therapy and nutritional advice, to suit individual lifestyles and needs. The dietitian is university trained and state registered. Appointments are made following a referral from a doctor or the nursing staff.

District Nurses

The District Nurse provides skilled nursing care for people living at home in the community and who cannot get to the surgery, by offering advice and information, treatment and support. The District Nurses are qualified registered nurses who have undertaken further training to plan, assess and provide skilled nursing care to people in their homes. They lead a team of nursing staff and ensures that the care provided is properly planned and delivered. The District Nurses can be contacted on 0300 124 5602 option 1

Health Visitors

The Health Visitors are concerned with preventing ill health and give advice on health promotion to all age groups. Their primary role is with families with young children and those with special needs. They advise on specific health needs and closely monitor the development of young children. They can be contacted on 0300 323 0118

Midwives

The midwives work closely with the doctors in providing care for all expectant mothers. In addition to running antenatal clinics. Working with the Health Visitors they help to prepare couples for the birth and care of their baby.

Pathway Advisory Service

For help and support on a 1-1 basis for those of working age, with a health condition, who want to work or retain employment. Appointments are made following a referral from a doctor or the nursing staff.

Musculoskeletal First Contact Practitioner

Most FCP appointments are 20 minutes. In one session the MSK FCP can assess and diagnose in order to be able to give advice and guidance on self care, refer (where necessary), administer joint/soft tissue injections (if qualified) and more. Appointments can be made by contacting the practice.
